The Community Partners Program provides funding for small projects that promote environmental education, conservation, and restoration of Dane County's natural resources. The maximum award in the Community Partners Program is $1000, but the Environmental Council anticipates funding a variety of proposals with award amounts ranging from $250 to $1000. Matching funds are not required but are strongly encouraged. Deadlines for proposals are expected to be around the end of February of each year.
Applicant Eligibility – Eligible applicants are non-profit organizations, municipalities, and school districts.
Project Eligibility – All projects must be located in Dane County. Small grants may be used for projects that promote environmental education, conservation, or restoration of Dane County's natural resources. The Council will base award of a grant on clarity of purpose, likelihood of success, and alignment with the Council's goals.
